Emergency response teams handled over five hundred emergency reports across the region, mainly for structural issues but also for collapsed vegetation and water accumulation.

Meteorological Predictions

Damp conditions were forecast to persist along large portions of Queensland's east this week as a low-pressure trough continued to attract humidity against the shoreline.

The following day was forecast to be the wettest day, with continued storm activity anticipated across multiple regions of both states.
